SWORD ( Social Work Organisation for Reconstruction and Development )


SWORD (Social Work Organisation for Reconstruction and Development) is a Social Work Association in which all the MSW students are members.  Various activities of SWORD include Symposium of Social aspects on Entrepreneurship, special session on Mock viva-voce and seminar on social work concentration, etc. It also conducted social welfare activities like rural camp, programme for poliofree India, State Level Essay competition in Tamil as well as in English, Awareness on disability management, Free satellite diabetic retinopathy detection camp, session on sign language, Talk on psychological motivation, motivational speech for the inmates of Don Bosco Anbu Illam, Awareness programme parenthood, Free Dental camp, Awareness programme on HIV & AIDS,etc.
