The art and science of Management has dominated every act of commerce. This has created a need for Management Graduates who can shoulder varied responsibilities in different organizations. The Department aims at producing talented graduates for various challenging positions in Management. The students are motivated to gain confidence and excel in their management ability.
Entrepreneurship Development Cell is successfully functioning with programs like Entrepreneurial Awareness Camp, meet the CEO, etc., where the students meet successful entrepreneurs and Bank officials to gain knowledge on how to start and run a business successfully. Skill enhancement programs with special stress on management games and practical training are also offered. The Department is having tie up with NEN to organize entrepreneurial
development programmes.
The Department of Management Science has launched its association OFFICIOS’ to strive towards excellence in imparting managerial skills to its blooming Managers. In a global perspective an entrepreneur is measured by his leadership trait and teamwork. The Department lives up to its dictum of churning out young executives, by exposing them to the virtual reality of competitive corporate environment. It organises a plethora of activities like Management Games, Market Talent Programmes, Workshops, Symposia, Business Quiz, Group Discussion, Paper Presentation, Stock Market Games and Case Study Analysis. The Department conducts Marketing Surveys and Projects to enable the young minds to get at the grip of reality.
