Department of Mathematics and Statistics


Prof. S. B. Krishnamoorthy,  M.Sc., M.Phil.  is the Head of the Department. He is the member in Board of Statistics in Bharathiar University. He served in various Government Colleges for more than 30 years.  Mathematics and Statistics are offered as allied subjects to various courses such as Commerce, Management, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication Systems and Biotechnology. Apart from academic coaching, the Department also offers special coaching for various competitive examinations and gives coaching in logical and analytical reasoning and helps the students in data processing.  Special training is given to all the students on data analysis with SPSS (Statistical Packages for Social Science) package.
