Lab Facilities                                                                                                     

Computer Laboratories are well equipped with the best and the latest systems and software packages. Every student is given training in RDBMS, Dot Net, Visual C++, ASP and Java Script. A student can enjoy a minimum of 20 contact hours per week on the computer and the gain is quite admirable. The Round-the-Clock Inter-Net facilities give an added leverage to the educational programs.

State-of-Art Costume Design lab in association with IIGM, a total sewing Solution Company.  Other labs include Patternmaking lab, Garment Construction lab, Textile processing Lab, Textile printing Lab, Draping Lab, Computer Aided Designing lab.  Electronics labs include DSP, VLSI, Embedded Systems, Electronic Circuits, Communications, and R&D laboratories. Well equipped laboratory with Bakery Oven, Model Executive Suite Room, Heavy Burners and other equipments is available in the Department of Catering Science and Hotel Management.

Seminar & Conference                                                                                                                 

Faculties and students are encouraged to attend various seminars and conferences. Most of the faculty attended conferences / seminars / workshops during this year.  Seminars on topics of importance, such as Object Oriented Analysis Design, RISC Micro Controller and Application, Bio-informatics were organized.

Tutor-Ward Outbound Learning                                                                                               

A good rapport is established between teacher and his/her ward to help the students overcome their learning difficulties.  A day’s outing as a part of outbound learning program with the students enhances it.

Special Coaching                                                                                                                          

The speciality of the college is in offering special coaching, and  making use of University Question Bank with answers. Remedial teaching and one-to-one counselling  for the weak students are also offered by the experts.

Co-Curricular Activities                                                                                                                

The College has tied up with Kovai Volley Ball Academy to develop players at national and international level.  The College sponsors admission, tuition fee, boarding and lodging for selected players. Mr. G. E. SRIDHARAN, the current Senior Coach and Arjuna Awardee and Dronacharya Awardee, is the chief coach of the Academy.
