Department of Physical Education which one of the Pioneer Department of Sri Krishna Arts and Science College with the Vision of high standards, structural training and active life, leading to motto benches to podium is committed to provided equal and fair opportunity to all it wards, through its diversified programme it would allow its students to reap the benefits leading to physical fitness, personality development culminating in enjoyable experience in a long run of their life.

  • Six students of our college volleyball players 1. Marsad Suhail II BBA (CA),Sharvan Yadav, II BBA, 3. Arun Therambil, I BBA, 4. Amith Sing, I BBA, 5. Deeksithlal, I BBA and 6. K.Ganesh, I BBA selected for Junior India Camp held at Bangalore.
  • Three students of our college Volleyball players 1. Marsad Suhail II BBA (CA), 2. Shrvan Yadav, II BBA, 3. Arun Therambil, I BBA, selected for 12th International Volleyball Tour Tournament held at Tunisia and won the
    fourth place.
  • Our college two Volleyball players 1. Marsad Suhail II BBA (CA), 2. Arun Therambil, I BBA selected for 16th Asain Championship held at Iran (Uremia).
  • Our college two Volleyball players 1. Marsad Suhail II BBA (CA), 2. Arun Therambil, I BBA participated and won the fourth place in the 16th Asain Championship Junior India Volleyball tournament held at Iran (Uremia).
  • Junior India Volleyball team qualified for World Championship in Turkey 2013.
  • Our college two Volleyball players 1. Marsad Suhail II BBA (CA), 2. Arun Therambil to played in the World Championship in 2013.
  • Our college Volleyball team winners in Veerapandi Sports Club District level Volleyball Tournament conducted by Veerapandi, Coimbatore.
  • Our college Volleyball team winners in PSG Trophy State Level Inter Collegiate Tournament conducted by PSG Arts and Science College, Coimbatore. Continuously 5 years of 2007-2008, 2008-2009, 2009-2010, 2010-2011, 2011-2012.
  • Our college Volleyball team Third place in First State Level Inter Collegiate Tournament conducted John Memorial Sports Foundation, Chennai.
  • Our college Volleyball team runner in South India level Inter Collegiate Tournament conducted by SSM College of Engineering, Salem.
  • Our college Volleyball team winners in Rev. Fr. T.J. Balaiah Memorial National Level Inter Collegiate Tournament conducted by Loyola Academy Degree and PG College, Hyderabad.
  • Our college Volleyball team winners in Coimbatore District League Championship T.S. Natarajan Memorial Trophy conducted by Nehru Stadium, Coimbatore.
  • Our college Volleyball team had won the third place in the 13th State Level Inter Collegiate tournament for Kongu Trophy held at Kongu Engineering College, Perundurai.
  • Our College Volleyball team Runners in the Bharathiar University Inter Collegiate Tournament held at Sri Saraswathi Thiyagaraja College, Pollachi.

Our College Volleyball team is coached by Arjuna and Dhuranacharya Awardee Mr. G. E. Sridharan and former International players Mr. V. C. Ramalingam.

S. Sapthagiri Best Libro in Coimbatore District Level Tournament held at Veerapandi, Coimbatore.

University Players Our college 4 students had represented Bharathiar University in Volleyball team and IIIrd place in the All India University, SRM University, Chennai.
2 students had represented Bharathiar University in Basketball team and participated in All India Inter University held at Vijayawada, Andrapradesh.
1 student had represented Bharathiar University in Softball team and participated in All India Inter University held at Indore Madhya Pradesh.
1 student had represented Bharathiar University in Badminton team and participated in All India Inter University, Kakinada, Andrapradesh.

Chess

Our college Chess team had won the fourth place in the Bharathiar University Inter Collegiate tournament participated team 56 in tournament held in the Hindustan College of Arts, Coimbatore.

Badminton

Our college Badminton men team had win the second place in the Bharathiar University Inter Collegiate tournament held at Bharathiar University.

Cricket & Football

Our College Cricket and Football team participated in the Bharathiar University Inter Collegiate Tournament held at various places in Bharathiar University Affiliated Colleges.

Athletics

  • Our college athletics had win the Bharathiar University Inter Collegiate Tournament 400 mts 2nd and 800 mts 3rd place, High jump 2nd place in the Coimbatore District Athletic meet held at Nehru Stadium, Coimbatore.
  • One student Senthil Kumar.N., I BBA CA of our college athletics players had won the 1500 1st place & 800 mts IInd place in the Coimbatore District Athletic meet held at Nehru Stadium, Coimbatore.
  • One student Divya.N., II BBA of our college athletics players had won the 6th place in the Bharathiar University Inter Collegiate Level Cross Country Race held at Sri Saraswathi Thiyagaraja College, Pollachi.
  • One student Gnanasowndaran, I BBA CA of our college Athletic player had won the High jump, 20th Karunya Evangeline Memorial Tournament 2012 held at Karunya University, Coimbatore. 2nd place, Bharathiar University 2nd Place in the Inter Collegiate Tournament.
  • Our college Athletics team coached by Mr. Srinivasan, Kovai Athletic Club, Coimbatore.

Basketball

  • Our college Basketball men team first time won the third place in the Bharathiar University Inter Collegiate tournament.
  • Our college coached for Mr. Ragukumar SDAT Coach., Coimbatore.

Table Tennis

  • Our college Table Tennis men team had won the fourth place in the Bharathiar University Inter Collegiate tournament held at Nehru Arts and Science College, Coimbatore.
  • Our college Table Tennis women team had won the second place in the Bharathiar University Inter Collegiate tournament held at Nehru Arts and Science College, Coimbatore.

Power Lifting

  • Saravananankumar.N., I B.Sc CS had won the IInd place in the Bharathiar University Inter Collegiate level Power Lifting tournament in the weight category above 120 kg held at Bharathiar University.
  • Karthick.M., III B.Sc ICT had won the IIIrd place in the Bharathiar University Inter Collegiate level Power Lifting tournament in the weight category above 76 kg held at Bharathiar University.
